My father taught me to work; he did not teach me to love it. - Abraham Lincoln
I am getting very sad just thinking about what I am going to write in this post....so here it goes! My 10 weeks of maternity leave is coming to an end. Today, was my last day with Avery before returning to work tomorrow. When I found out I was pregnant, I thought that going back to work after she was born was going to be a piece of cake, well I was sadly wrong. This is going to be harder than I ever imagined but it is something that must be done. I know a tremendous amount of tears will be shed and lots of phone calls will be made to make sure she is in good hands. Her first official day at daycare is not until Monday, so "Aunt" Carol Boeker has agreed to watch her the rest of this week to help Zach and I out. It is so great knowing that we have someone in San Antonio that is family and we trust immensely. So this week I am guessing will not be that bad considering she will be watching her at our house and I have known her all my life. I can almost guarantee that tomorrow around this time I will be exhausted and just want to get home to hug, kiss and squeeze my precious baby girl. I think I have told her a dozen times today that Mommy loves her and I will miss her when I am at work. She has no clue what I am talking about but it is making me feel a little better. So, everyone think about me tomorrow while I step foot back into the work force!!!
