World Traveler..or will be soon!
Yesterday, we received Avery's passport. It is funny to think that our soon to be 8 month old has a passport and will be using it in about a month. Such a world traveler at a young age.

Come back Popo, We miss you!
Dad left today to go back home. He has been here since Saturday, February 13th. I guess it was time he got to sleep in his own bed. Needless to say, it has been really nice having him here to keep Avery and I company and help me out around the house. So much has been accomplished since he has been here. Between him doing things during the week and Mom doing things on the weekends, we are organized and the house is pretty clean!
Popo's Checked Off List:
Popo's Checked Off List:
- Roll-Out Drawers in the Cabinets (he built 4 drawers total from scratch...what a handy man)
- Hung a spice Rack in the pantry
- Cleaned up the garage
- Took out my trash
- Cooked dinner for me every night
- Cleaned the house
- Vaccummed & swepted the floors
- Did my grocery shopping
- Baby sat Avery for the first time ALONE and survived 2 dirty diapers!
I am sure I have missed a few minor details but all in all he was very productive and so very helpful. A girl could not ask for a better father!
Thanks Dad for all that you do for us! We love you!
Thanks Mom for doing our laundry and keeping me organized...your the best Mom ever!
Love you both very Much!
Sleeping Beauty
Yesterday, Avery was sound asleep when we finally made it home from work and daycare! I had to get a picture of the sleeping beauty in her fashionable hat her Mimi made for her.

Mimi,
Thank you so much for all of the cute hats you made me. My teachers and friends at school think I am so cool and in style! Mommy lets me wear a different one everyday. Daddy is in Arizona and I miss him so much. Mommy says he will be home soon and will give me a big kiss when he gets here. I can't wait to show him how I crawl, sit up on my own and play with my toys. Jimmy is always trying to lay on my blanket with my toys but Mommy won't let him. Popo is here and he is funny. He always makes funny faces and dances around me to make me laugh. Popo and Mommy keep trying to get me to say Daddy but I am waiting to say it when Daddy gets home. I want to surprise him!
I love you and miss you, Mimi!
Love, Avery

Avery's First Valentines Day
There was one special person missing from this day...mine and Avery's Valentine!!!!
We miss you!
I am expecting a redo of valentines day when Zach returns...I missed not having my Zachary sauce, wine, candlelight and flowers! And Avery's needs her first valentines kiss from her Daddy!

Mom and Dad were here all weekend so we dressed Avery up in her adorable Valentines outfit and ventured out to a nice Sunday lunch. Our favorite place...Gruene River Grill! Avery enjoyed people watching and playing with her keys while Mommy enjoyed a much needed mexican martini! It has been along time since I have spent Valentines day with my parents. We enjoyed our lunch and then headed to San Marcos for a little outlet shopping.
The day was fun but we really missed our valentine!!!

Pre-Valentine's Day at Daycare
I few weeks ago I decided to make my first appliqued shirt for Avery. I have to say it turned out pretty good. I was very impressed with myself after sewing around the hearts with the sewing machine. This was not an easy task being that the onesie is hard to manuever thru the machine. I had some left over material so my Mom whipped out a matching skirt to complete the outfit. Avery looked so adorable this morning and was the talk of the "town/daycare!"

We miss you already!
On Friday, Zach received an unexpected assignment to spend the next 6 weeks in Page, Arizona for work. At first I thought, "that's not so bad, he will be home on weekends." I was sadly wrong! He will be working 12 hour shifts, 7 days a week! Ugh! Being the selfish person I am, I thought, "what am I going to do without him for this long there is no way I can do this on my own...who will help me with bath time, feedings, playtime." Then, he explained to me how hard it was going to be on him. Possibly missing Avery's first time to crawl, her first word and so on. At that point I realized I needed to be a strong woman for him and do everything in my power to put what I was feeling aside and focus on making sure he was okay. I have decided to turn the blog into a place for Zach to see Avery grow over the next six weeks. A lot of you may get bored with all the postings but my goal is to post at least one picture of Avery everyday from now until Zach returns. Wish us luck on getting through these next weeks without each other. We miss him already and I know he is missing his girls as well!

6 Month Check up
Avery had her 6 month well visit last Wednesday. She weighed in at 14 pounds 10 ounces. She is still in the 25-30% percentile for her weight and 30% for height. Go figure on the height, poor little girl does not stand a chance in the height department. She is doing great and growing like a weed.

Please check out my very good friend Tracy's blog. She is so creative and can make just about anything.
"Cruise with me Baby"
The plans are made and we are paid in full! It's official! The Inman's are going on a CRUISE! We are so excited! My family has been talking about taking a cruise for a while now and we have finally decided to go for it. My Mom and Dad and the whole family will embark on a Carnival cruise out of Galveston and visit Montego Bay, Jamaica, Grand Cayman & Cozumel. We will be at sea for 7 days! Avery's first vacation will be a cruise! I mean come on can we say spoiled rotten. I am pretty sure my first vacation was to Sommerville Lake or Galveston. She will eat sand for the first time on the beaches in Jamaica! Of course she won't remember a thing about the trip but at least she will get to relive it through the pictures in her baby book.

Sick Baby
Just a little recap of our life since last Wednesday....
Wednesday - Avery received her 6 month shots plus the flu shot
Thursday - Running Fever
Friday - Running Fever
Saturday - Running Fever
Sunday - Running Fever so we took her into see the doctor...result: double ear infections!
She is still a very unhappy baby but her old self is slowly coming back. We just hate seeing her so miserable. She was given antibiotics so hopefully she will start feeling better.
Zach and I on the other hand are very crabby too! We have been up every night since Friday at least for a few hours every night. We try everything to make her happy and comfortable. We even let her play tea party at 3am! Anything for our baby girl.
